WINDY DONOVAN

Enrollment Coordinator 

Inspired by the deep rhythms of nature and the transformative experience of motherhood, Windy Donovan found her way to the Steiner Philosophy and Waldorf Education. As a passionate organic gardener, Windy was inspired to mother close to the earth and the rhythms of nature. When she discovered Azalea Mountain School for her daughters, there was a deep resonance and recognition.

As an active community member and volunteer, Windy found a culture of caring, compassionate teachers and parents that shared the same heart-filled desire to support the magic of childhood with the leading philosophy of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. She is passionate about Waldorf Education and healthy community. She brings this love and passion to all aspects of her work on the Administrative team. 

She loves working with children and is also a former gymnastics instructor and a certified Children’s Yoga Instructor. Some of her favorite activities include wild foraging, homesteading, crafting, and joyful movement. She is happiest being present with her two daughters.
