ALEX Esarey

Alex Esarey (she/her) is originally from Nebraska, but has hopped around quite a bit since then!  She attended Asbury University in Kentucky and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work. From there she moved to Seattle, where she began her teaching career as a Lead Pre-K teacher. After moving to Colorado in 2013, she taught in the Kindergarten (both as a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher) at Mountain Phoenix Community School, a Waldorf-inspired Charter in the foothills outside Denver. In 2019 she graduated with her Waldorf Teacher certificate from the West Coast Institute of Anthroposophy in Vancouver, Canada.  Her teaching philosophy is one of JOY- you will likely hear lots of singing, dancing, and laughter when she’s around!

Outside of the classroom, you will find Ms. Alex practicing her bagpipes, playing board games, cuddling with her two kitties, or going on hikes with her husband.
