Nicholas Andrea
Sixth Grade Teacher
Nicholas earned a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Delaware, after which he taught special education, led drumming groups with at-risk youth, and worked in youth ministry at the Unitarian Universalist church. In 2015 a series of synchronicities led him to Asheville Waldorf School where he became the music teacher and the aftercare teacher. Hired as a grades teacher one year later, Nicholas’ mission is to foster the unfoldment of beautiful human destinies through Waldorf Education, believing that a spiritually scientific approach is what is needed on planet Earth at this time. Nicknamed “The Bard,” Nicholas is also an avid poet, songwriter, and piper of many varieties, including the Irish penny whistle, the Native American flute, and is learning the highland bagpipes.
