Games and Movement
Morgan grew up in Connecticut where she spent many hours dancing and playing in the snow. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Environmental Education. Morgan taught children in camps, environmental centers, Girl Scout programs, farms, and ski resorts until a broken leg took her off the slopes and landed her at the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork as a kindergarten assistant and rest time teacher. Morgan began teaching at Asheville Waldorf School in 2016 as a Kindergarten teacher. She has since worked in the Nursery program and as a substitute in the Grades. Morgan has two sons in the Grades program. She is certified as a traditional herbalist, yoga teacher, and completed the early childhood certificate program through Lifeways North America. While not at school, you might find Morgan hiking in the mountains with her boys, dancing in her living room, making tea, or sitting in the sun with her guitar. She is honored to take the position of Movement and Games Teacher at Asheville Waldorf School!
