BECKY CROSSWHITE

A mother of four, Becky discovered Waldorf education over ten years ago while exploring preschools for her eldest son. Initially attracted to the natural materials, outdoor play, and wholesome, organic meals, she became more inspired the more she learned about the gift of Waldorf education.

Becky earned a B.S. degree in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis, in 1999. After working as a county planner, she spent the next 20 years as an analyst in environmental consulting. More recently, she served on the Board of Trustees and Co-Chaired the Parent Guild Steering Committee, in addition to serving on various committees in her children’s Waldorf community in California. To better serve her community, Becky has completed courses in Building Leadership Character and Waldorf Leadership Development.

Becky has settled into West Asheville with her children attend Asheville Waldorf School. Becky enjoys gardening and playing soccer whenever she has the opportunity.
